Theodor Elmar Bjarnason is an Icelandic footballer who plays as a midfielder. He was born on March 4th, 1987, in Reykjavik, Iceland. He currently plays as a midfielder for the Norwegian side Lyn. He started his career in football by playing for the local club KR Reykjavik. Then later, he moved on to play for the Scottish football club called the Celtic Football Club, which is situated in the East end of Glasgow. He made his debut for Celtic in a match that was played against Hibernian, in the last game of the 2006-07 seasons. In this match, he played for the full 90 minutes and was later named as the man of the match by the website of the team. On June 13th in the year 2007, he signed a new three year contract. But on January 15th 2008, in a bid to play regular first team football, he signed up for the Norwegian Premier League Club, known as the Football Club Lyn Oslo. He first debuted internationally in May 2007, when he was called for the Iceland National Football Team, in a match against Liechtenstein.
